PlusOne is a service that helps players find teammates who fit their rank. This page explains what personal data we process, why we process it, and what your rights are. Under Turkey's Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK), PlusOne is the data controller.
Data we collect
- Sign-in details: When you sign in with Google or Discord, the name, email address, profile picture and account ID those services send us.
- Lobby details: For lobbies you open: the game, mode, region, party size, your party's ranks, roles wanted, language, note and party code; the lobbies you join and the rank you picked at the time.
- Riot account: The Riot ID you save. If you choose "Sign in with Riot" or "Verify with Riot", the Riot ID and account ID (PUUID) Riot sends us; we never see your password. Only you can see your PUUID and it is deleted when you disconnect. The first time you sign in with Riot, your account gets a made-up address that no email is ever sent to. Rank and match summaries for Riot IDs on PlusOne come from Riot via HenrikDev.
- Profile: The display name, bio, role, region, rank and play times you put on your profile are shown on your public profile page. Your sign-in profile picture is shown only if you choose "Show my Google/Discord picture"; your email address and sign-in name never appear on it. Only you can see the list of lobbies you opened and players you matched with.
- Ratings and posts: Ratings and tags you give players you matched with (who gave them stays private), your team posts, applications, and the Discord name on your post (shown only to players you accept).
- Notifications and Discord: If you turn on notifications, your device's or browser's push address, rank, language and notification choices; if you connect a Discord channel, that channel's webhook URL.
- PlusOne Discord bot: If you add the bot to a server with "Add to Discord", the channel webhook Discord creates, the server and channel IDs and names, and the region and language chosen for the channel; these are tied to your account and deleted when you remove the channel. When someone uses the bot's commands (/lfg, /plusone-settings…), their Discord user ID, language setting and permissions are read only to prepare that reply and are not stored.
- Reports: If you report a lobby or a post, what you reported and why.
- Stored on your device: The rank you picked and your session are stored in your browser or on your phone.
- Usage statistics and error reports: We anonymously count which pages are opened and how often actions like opening a lobby or copying a code happen; these counts carry no account or Riot ID, only a random session number that changes each time you open a tab or the app. If the site or app hits an error, we record the error message, the page, the app version and, if you're signed in, your account ID. We keep these in our own database. The Android app also uses Google Firebase Analytics (anonymous usage statistics: screens opened, the same anonymous action counts, device model and OS version) and Firebase Crashlytics (crash reports: error details, device and app version); your name, Riot ID and party codes are never included. You can turn this off in the app under Settings → Privacy ("Share usage and crash data"). The website uses no third-party analytics service.
We don't collect data for ads or to track you across sites, and we don't sell your data to anyone.
Why we use it
- To recognize your account and let you sign in.
- To show lobbies, and to show the party code only to the lobby owner and the players who join.
- To work out who can join under Riot's party rules.
- To prevent spam and abuse.
- To find and fix errors, and to see which features are used.
Who can see it
Open lobbies, lobby details and the ranks of players who join are visible to everyone. The party code is only visible to the lobby owner and the players who join. Your email address is never shown to other players.
Where it's stored
Data is stored on Supabase (database and sign-in, European Union / Frankfurt) and Vercel (website hosting). Google and Discord are used for sign-in; their own privacy policies apply.
How long
Lobbies drop off the list after 5 minutes. Error reports are deleted after 30 days and usage statistics after 90 days. Your account details are kept until you delete your account. To delete your account, email the address below; we'll delete your account and all lobby, join and report records tied to it.
Your rights
Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the right to learn whether your data is processed, to ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and to object. Email us with your request.
